The Bay Tones Trio Is a San Francisco based group that excels at playing a variety of styles to a wide range of audiences. The Trio first came to be when they shared the serendipitous experience of providing joy through music to elderly residents at the Broadmoor Hotel. Since then, the three have worked together intimately to learn to create just the right balance that a piano trio format requires: each instrumentalist providing their own unique voice while producing a unified sound. Only two years old, the trio sound is fresh and playful while still honoring old jazz traditions. Bay Tones Trio has played throughout the Bay Area and recorded two albums. The trio plays twice a month at the Broadmoor Hotel as well as other venues and clubs and is available for public and private events and parties.
